Hair can be seen as a physical manifestation of our thoughts and expressions. Your hair grows with you and can be seen as your own fibre like a tree’s annual rings. The myth of Nuliayuk tells about the goddess of the sea that needs her hair cleaned at times because all of humanity’s misdoings gets trapped in her hair.
In today’s society I can feel a similar scenario, where we continuously are pressured consciously or subconsciously. With this in mind I’m cleaning my hair as an attempt to reset myself.
